Congratulations on completing this unit on managing Atlas Search indexes.

Let’s quickly recap what we covered.

First, you learned how to create, test, edit, and delete search indexes by using the Atlas UI.

We then went over the Atlas roles required to manage indexes in the Atlas UI: Project Data Access Admin and Project Search Index Editor.

Next, you learned how to manage search indexes by using the Atlas CLI.

For this, your Atlas user must have one of the following roles: Project Data Access Manager, Project Owner, or Organization Owner.

Finally, you learned how to manage search indexes in the MongoDB Shell by using the: createSearchIndexes, getSearchIndexes, updateSearchIndexes, and dropSearchIndexes methods.

Now that you know how to manage Atlas Search indexes, you might want to check out the units on complex search queries and search index analyzers.

You can also refer to MongoDB’s documentation.

Until next time, keep learning!
