Congratulations! You have now completed the first phase of our data modeling methodology by identifying the workloads for the bookstore application.

Let’s recap the steps we took in order to identify our application’s workload.

First, we identified our database entities and quantified them based on how we foresee users interacting with the application.

Next, we determined the read and write operations associated with the entities based on how the application will work.

Finally, we identified the frequency of the read and write operations.

Now that we have the workloads identified we can move on to the next stage of the data modeling methodology, identifying and modeling relationships.
