In this course you will learn to use bash as well as some commonly used bash commands. You’ll learn how to write reusable, repeatable bash scripts. You’ll also learn using jq to parse and manipulate JSON in bash.
In this lab you will learn to use bash as well as some commonly used bash commands. You will learn how to write reusable, repeatable bash scripts. You will also learn, using jq , to parse and manipulate JSON in bash.
You will be able to understand:
- basic bash commands (including logic, variables, for loops, if statements, etc)
- how to manipulate JSON on the command line
- how to write idempotent statements for the value of our customers
The lab is not a comprehensive guide on bash commands. You will need more than is included in this mission. Consider it an introduction.
